What Makes Up an RFID System?
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) warehouse management is a method of real-time tracking and management of items in the warehouse using RFID technology. The following are a few key steps in RFID warehouse management:
1.RFID Tag Deployment: RFID tags are the key to RFID warehouse management. Every product in stock should have an RFID tag with a globally unique ID code. Different types of tags can be selected according to the characteristics of the managed objects, such as passive tags. When deploying RFID tags, factors such as tag frequency, installation method, waterproof level, tag material, and reading distance need to be considered when selecting a tag type;
2.RFID reader installation: RFID reader is the device responsible for reading RFID tag information, there are fixed reader, rfid gate reader, rfid integrated reader type. It can be installed at doorways, shelves, trucks, etc. When installing the reader, you need to consider the location of the reader, the installation method, the power of the reader, the type of antenna gain and other factors.
3.RFID system configuration: RFID system refers to the entire RFID system including RFID tags, readers (antennas), middleware, databases, application software, etc., and the entire system needs to be configured. When configuring an RFID system, factors such as system topology, communication protocol, middleware selection, and database configuration need to be considered.

1.Registration and warehousing: affix a label on the package or pallet of each product, and use an rfid desktop reader or printer to encode the label epc number one by one and establish a database

Active RFID
Active RFID – 433 MHz or 915 MHz – Active RFID tags contain a battery to boost their read range to anywhere between 100 and 300 meters in length. These tags can be read from a long distance away, but the battery life is only about 3-5 years and the tags are larger, bulkier, and higher-cost than their passive counterparts. Active tagsare seen in construction yard applications (due to the long read range) and just about any system that requires real-time location (due to the continuous beaconing of the tags).
